Description |
|
Introduction to IBM Rational Analyst Tools teaches the experienced analyst how to apply the key capabilities of IBM Rational RequisitePro and IBM Rational Software Modeler (RSM) for iterative requirements management and use case modeling. The course begins with a review of a proven configuration for setting up a new RequisitePro project. Then the course describes how to capture the vision document through importing existing requirements and then organizing them in the project explorer. Interaction with attribute matrix views for changing, sorting, and querying requirement attributes is discussed. The course also describes how to build the domain model and use case model in UML using RSM and how to integrate RSM with RequisitePro for managing use case specifications. IBM Rational SoDA is introduced as tool for generating the domain model and use case surveys. Strategies for marking requirements and setting attributes for use case specifications are discussed. The course concludes with establishing and querying traceability between features, use cases, and test cases using traceability matrix and tree views.
