Description |
|
ADM Fundamentals provides students with a case study based
experience with the Architecture Development (ADM) – a component of The
Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF™). The course begins with an
overview of the structure of ADM and its relationship to the Enterprise
Continuum and Resource Base. The course discusses key architecture
stakeholders and how to adapt the ADM to an organization. Students will
discuss the foundation of sustainable enterprise architecture – requirements
management and traceability. The course then describes how to capture a
vision for the architecture and assess organizational readiness. Then the
approach to evolving baseline and target architectures for the business, data,
application, and technology domains is discussed along with gap and impact
analysis. Then the course reviews effective migration strategies, piloting new
implementations, governing architecture compliance and change management.
Students that complete this course as a part of the APG TOGAF Certification
Program will receive TOGAF certification from The Open Group.
