Webinar: Delivering Actionable Enterprise Architecture
|
Overview |
|
Research shows that top-performing organizations share a number of common success
factors in strategically managing their IT assets, including:
- Assigning accountability for organizational change to key solution
delivery projects,
- Clarifying how architecturally-significant projects link to business
strategy, and
- Learning from each project to further develop internal capabilities to
effectively manage architecture assets.
A critical element of making any enterprise architecture (EA) practice viable and sustainable is to clearly define
how the EA lifecycle integrates with other processes such as strategic planning, portfolio
management, and solution delivery.
This session will discuss how to make EA actionable by
integrating the industry leading EA framework – The Open Group Architecture
Framework (TOGAF™) and its Architecture Development Method (ADM) – with the IBM
Rational Unified Process® (RUP®). The speaker will discuss how to leverage open-source and commercial tools for
representing this integration and subsequent organizational tailoring.

Come Learn More |

Please attend a complimentary APG webinar to learn about
two key roles who are the liaisons between enterprise architecture
and solution delivery. The Solution Architect helps solution delivery
projects understand their enterprise architecture context and requirements, and the
disposition of relevant architecture assets – reuse, buy, or build. The Architecture Review
Lead helps projects rationalize critical design decisions and demonstrate their
compliance with organization standards.
