Free Training: Sparx Enterprise Architect TOGAF Primer

Description

APG's Sparx Enterprise Architect TOGAF Primer course provides students with a hands-on opportunity for learning how to capture enterprise architecture models and related content using the MDG Technology for TOGAF add-in with Enterprise Architect (EA) from Sparx Systems. Most class time is used for students to do hands-on lab exercises following a step-by-step workbook.

This session is an abbreviated, one-day version of APG's two-day course – 01-0623: Sparx Enterprise Architect TOGAF.

Featured Instructor

Mr. Chris Armstrong, President of Armstrong Process Group, is an internationally-recognized thought leader in enterprise architecture, process improvement, systems engineering, formal modeling, and agile/iterative methods. Mr. Armstrong represents APG at The Open Group, the Object Management Group, and the Eclipse Foundation.

When and How

This special training event is occuring at The Open Group Conference Boston 2010 and is open to conference attendees.

This one-day course is being delivered in two half-day sessions:

  • Part I: Tues (20 Jul 10) @ 14:00-17:00
  • Part II: Wed (21 Jul 10) @ 09:00-12:00

Assumptions

  • Each attendee must provide their own laptop
  • APG will provide each attendee with a trial version of Enterprise Architect to install at beginning of course
